In verse 27, Alma tells the Nephites to not be frightened. He tells them that God would deliver them. In verse 39 we see that Alma and the Nephites are now in bondage to the Lamanites and Amulon is now king over them. Do you believe that Alma was right that God would deliver them? Why or why not?
There is an interesting concept in this verse. One that I have personally called upon the Lord to bless me with. Sometimes, we are stuck in an undesirable situation. What does this verse teach us that the Lord can do in such a situaiton?
