2 Nephi 26:12-22

2 Nephi 26:16-17

These verses talk about those who were destroyed speaking from out of the dust by way of a book. How do you think that Nephi’s people, who lives so long ago, can speak to us through a book?

2 Nephi 26:22

Nephi says that the devil leads us with a flaxen cord until he can bind us with his strong cords forever. Flaxen cords are very thin cords and relatively easy to break. Yet, he uses these thin cords to keep us in his power. The strong cords that he uses are really just a whole bunch of thin flaxen cords. What is an example of a flaxen cord that you can think of. In other words, what is something that the devil tries to get us to do that is just a little bit wrong, but still puts us in his power?
